                                                     Bharat’s Nicole Faria has been crowned as Miss Earth 2010 in Nha Trang, Vietnam. This is the tenth Miss Earth beauty pageant which was conducted on 4th Dec 2010 at the Vinpearl Resort & Spa in Vietnam.
                 20-year-old girl Miss Earth 2010 Nicole Faria from Bangalore bested favorites from Puerto Rico and Thailand. She is advocates for the conservation of fossil fuels and natural resources like water and forests.

GIS NOW IDENTIFY PROPERTIES OF BANGALORE

Geographical Information System (GIS) technology was used to identify all properties in BBMP limits.

  • BBMP is identifying each property in the respective zone. Teams headed by revenue officers will visit each property and verify the tax paid details. the oficers will be equipped with property tax details of the properties.
  • Accurate information, site dimension, built up area, land use and classification of the property- will be provided by GIS
  • through this process, details of each property will be generated in electronic format and printed
  • properties for which tax has been paid will be shaded on the map
  • A special notice will be issued on the spot to those who not paid property tax.
EVERY PROPERTY WILL BE DOCUMENTED BY THE BBMP IN THIS FORMAT
Sl No, App No, Plot No, PID No, Kata no, Sur no, Property no(site, built), No of floor, Vecent area,Usage recidential(owner, tenant), Usage commertial(owner tenant), Year of construction, remarks.
